Terms of Service

1. Who we are and acceptance
Barhops is provided by Lunafox, based in England and Wales. Contact barhops@lunafox.org. By accessing or using Barhops, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility and responsible use
You must be at least the legal drinking age where you use Barhops. Use it lawfully and responsibly, follow venue rules and local laws, and never use it while driving or in a way that puts anyone at risk. Barhops is a planning and social platform, not an alcohol seller, venue operator, event organiser, transport provider, emergency service, security provider or medical adviser.
3. The service
Features may include bar discovery, ratings and reviews, visits and check-ins, friends, shared crawls and events, photos, game modes, AI-assisted suggestions, notifications and premium features. Venue, route, map and AI information may be incomplete or out of date; verify important details directly.
4. Crawl Club and in-app purchases
Crawl Club Monthly and Weekly are recurring subscriptions. Barhops may also offer one-off purchases. Apple or Google process purchases under their store terms. Cancellation stops future renewal. Purchases and event bookings are non-refundable except where required by law.

You are responsible for content you submit and must have the rights and permissions needed to upload it. You retain ownership and grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, technically adapt, display, distribute and moderate it to operate Barhops. Reviews must reflect genuine experiences.
6. Reporting and moderation
Barhops provides in-app reporting. We may remove content, restrict visibility, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve evidence, or cooperate with law enforcement where appropriate.
7. Visibility and sharing
Profiles, reviews and ratings are public. Individual visits are visible to friends; aggregate visit information may be public. Crawls and crawl photos are visible to friends and people who attended.
8. Safety and liability
You are responsible for your decisions, alcohol consumption, route choices, belongings and the people you meet. Arrange safe travel and seek emergency help where needed. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Indemnity
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Lunafox and Barhops against reasonable losses arising from unlawful conduct, breach of these Terms, your content, or infringement of another person’s rights.
10. Suspension, termination and changes
We may suspend access where you breach these Terms, create risk, or where required by law. You may stop using Barhops and request account deletion at any time. Material changes will be notified where reasonable.

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to mandatory consumer protections where you live. Questions can be sent to barhops@lunafox.org.
